Special Event:  Dinner Concert on Friday, December 9, 2011

Enjoy an evening at the Rose Café near Lake Erie with a holiday atmosphere of decorations and sounds.  Featured will be Hugo Distler's variations on Lo How a Rose and other distinctive carol settings.

You may have been in attendance for our dinner concerts last year or the year before at the Rose Café.  You may have added our dinner concerts to your own Christmas memories -- the beautiful lights shimmering on Lake Erie as you heard traditional carol arrangements.  Choral Spectrum will reprise the dinner concert format for this year as well.  The beauty of the season -- crisp winter air, pure white snow, crystalline ice and the symbolic Rose will serve to inspire our concert.  Carol settings from the Middle Ages will be featured with particular emphasis on carols accompanied by harp.  I think you'll enjoy hearing these fresh settings of traditional carols in the dinner concert Choral Spectrum will be presenting at the beautiful Rose Café in Lakeview Park, Lorain, on Friday, December 9, 2011.  The seasonal decorations will be lit and shining in the night and on the waters of Lake Erie during what promises to be a magical evening full of Christmas music, good food, and good friends.

Dinner will be by reservation only.  Please complete the reservation form and mail in your payment to Dr. Williams by Monday, December 5 to insure your reservation.  For those who were patrons, advertisers, or bed and breakfast hosts for 2011, you should receive a payment voucher in the mail which will cover the concert portion of your reservation.  Please deduct the value of your voucher and include the voucher with your reservation mailing.  Your ticket(s) will be mailed to you after we have your reservation.  If you have any questions, please call Dr. Williams at 440-669-0339.

Doors will be open around 6:00 P.M.  Dinner, catered by DeLucas, will be served beginning at 6:30 P.M. as listeners enjoy the concert.

Cost is $39 total per person and will inlcude the concert, dinner, taxes and gratuities.  DeLucas will also have a cash bar available to patrons at an additional cost.
